Prior to contacting Grant, we had looked at several houses that were already built and made offers on two of them. Unfortunately at the time, those offers fell through and left us with a feeling of frustration associated with our house search. As a result, we began to think about building our new home, and this caused us to contact Grant. When we first talked to Grant, he informed us that he was in the process of starting his own business, and he would love for us to be his first customers. Any feelings of uneasiness that we had due to the newness of his business quickly disappeared after meeting with him for the first time. Right from the beginning we felt comfortable talking with Grant and asking him questions.
Grant has been extremely knowledgeable about the details involved with building our home. He has informed us about even the smallest details. Since this is our first home, we had many uncertainties that some people might refer to as “dumb” questions. Grant never responded in that manner. He took every question seriously and answered it to the best of his ability. Grant was also patient in explaining all of our different options to us. When the price he offered us came in at around fifteen thousand more than what we were looking to spend, Grant didn’t try to push us into accepting his offer. On the contrary, he explained why the house that he would be building was worth the price in the long run. As a result, we decided to accept the offer because it included everything we were looking for in a new home.
In conclusion, Grant has done an outstanding job of building our home. He has made the process extremely enjoyable for us. We have no doubt that Grant will continue to be available if any problems would happen to arise after closing. We would gladly recommend Grant to anyone interested in building a new home.

Not only did our project go smoothly, it went brilliantly!
We needed to add-on to our existing home to accommodate elderly parents, and we needed it fast! We literally wanted to attach a second house to our original house. It was a challenging project. We talked to two other builders, and then we talked to Grant Giese. Grant took all the time we needed to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable with the process. We chose Grant, and he launched into action.
Having previously built a home, we expected the worse. Not only did our project go smoothly, it went brilliantly! At every juncture, Grant was there to answer questions, supervise subcontractors and ensure the work progressed properly and efficiently.
Sadly, we lost mom during construction, so we had an even greater sense of urgency to complete the addition more quickly. Knowing our situation, Grant accelerated the project any way that he could. He even stayed late into the night on several occasions cleaning, touching-up paint and doing whatever was necessary to get the house finished.
Dad is now living with us in his comfortable, well-built new home! A big “thank you” to Grant Giese for being more than a project manager; for not just focusing on quality construction, but for understanding the human side of building a home.

We often heard horror stories from people about building a house. We have no idea what those people were talking about, because Grant Giese made our home building experience a breeze! He had better customer service than we ever expected, sometimes even meeting with us to go over our house plans in the evenings or weekends to accommodate our work schedules. We designed the house ourselves and Grant helped us mold our ideas into a set of plans that were constructable while still suiting our needs. He always took the time to go over our questions and was extremely patient with our last minute changes and requests. He held to his estimate and schedule all while doing quality work. All of our friends have commented that they have never seen a house go up so quickly. Grant was very good about scheduling work activities at the job site so there was always work going on. The house looked different every day. We have a great house that is green certified (an extra “wow” in our opinion) all because we found the right builder for us. He is an excellent and trustworthy builder. We’ve been recommending Grant to all our friends and will continue to do so.

The selection process could have been a daunting task, but Grants years of experience and patience came into play when it was time to narrow down our choices. We had our eyes set on a move in date and Grant exceeded that expectation without cutting any corners. Grant always knew what was going on and was able to answer any questions. We love our new Green Goose home! Our new home is beautiful and stylish and fits all of our needs. We wanted a home that was completely wheelchair accessible, but didn’t look like a hospital. We also love that it is a custom home and doesn’t look like everyone else’s on the block. Grant is very easy and fun to work with. He kept us informed every step of the way and even texted us pictures of exciting things that they finished that day while we were at work.
Now that we have lived in our home through the hottest summer in years, we can attest to the fact that his insulation process is well worth it! Our electric bills for the hottest summer months were lower than our budget bill for our old house despite the fact that our new house is bigger. Our electric bill at our old house would have easily been $100 more for those really hot months. We can’t wait to see how we do in the winter months.

Grant helped our dream come true!
You know those horror stories you hear about building a home? Not from the Azpells, you won’t. We were a high maintenance little family; building for the first time. We were looking to build a green home (as green as we could afford) that still met our family’s needs. We designed our floor plan and Grant helped our dream come true. Every project has hiccups; ours was no exception. These were out of anyone’s control, and Grant’s calm and reassuring presence made it all so easy. Our experience was wonderful, and if we weren’t in our home for life, we’d do it AGAIN! Grant worked with us from beginning to end (and beyond). Grant is patient, kind, experienced, insightful, customer and quality oriented. Our home was certified a Gold Level Green Home. We were so pleased with our results that we left the Green Goose Homes sign in the yard for 4 months. We would like everyone to have the opportunity that we have had.
